Hi,

I'm struggling to tunnel cisco CDP/STP traffic. I have an EX4200 running 12.3R4.6....We havecustomer that we vlan off into vpls/l2vpn's which work fine apart from this customer that wants to perform stp/cdp across the network who we are doing qinq for.

This is the edge port details

set interfaces ge-1/0/28 description "Customer L2 Interconnect1 QinQ"
set interfaces ge-1/0/28 mtu 9152
set interfaces ge-1/0/28 unit 0 family ethernet-switching port-mode access
set interfaces ge-1/0/28 unit 0 family ethernet-switching vlan members vlan-2176
set interfaces xe-0/1/0 unit 0 family ethernet-switching vlan members vlan-2176 <<<<<upstream to a L2vpn vlan-ccc

set vlans vlan-2176 description "Customer L2 Interconnect1 QinQ"
set vlans vlan-2176 vlan-id 2176
set vlans vlan-2176 dot1q-tunneling customer-vlans 1-4094
set vlans vlan-2176 dot1q-tunneling customer-vlans native
set vlans vlan-2176 dot1q-tunneling layer2-protocol-tunneling all
set vlans vlan-2176 dot1q-tunneling layer2-protocol-tunneling cdp
set vlans vlan-2176 dot1q-tunneling layer2-protocol-tunneling stp

set ethernet-switching-options dot1q-tunneling ether-type 0x8100

.....any ideas?

Regards

A
