Hi
Am setting up an IP fabric with VXLAN/EVPN on the qfx5100 series.
It states in network director that each leaf needs a subnet ( VLAN IP Prefix )
Specify the IP address block that will be reserved for the virtual machines or hosts that will be connected to the leaves.
Network Director allocates each leaf device with a subnet from the given IP address block.
As each leaf is a standalone BGP router in IP fabric, how does this work for hosts that are using a lag to connect to two leafs? the network would belong to a single leaf yet a /32 would be on the other leaf.
I assume that I would be redistributing into BGP the /32s of each host from each leaf?
or is this only for management of the hypervisor?
not a lot of detail on this part in the design guides?
any feedback gratefully accepted.
thanks
