If I am not mistaken 'LAG hashes' do not need to match on the two sides of a LAG, as long as both sides adhere to to standards. A LAG will accept traffic on any port, and use the hash to determine the outgoing port not for authentication.
This is why a Juniper EX series can have a working LAG with a Cisco switches that support only L3 hashing or L3/L4 hashing (catalysts).
