Hi !

 

NO, if the switches are 2 distinst switches then NO

same ESI value means a MC-LAG (multichassis-LAG) connection, which means you are telling the other side of the connection, that the 2 endpoints behave like a single one.

This is true on the EVPN ( where EVPN takes over the ICCP-part of a MC-LAG) side but not per se on the other side.

( exception is if both switches are a virtual chassis or if you use MC-LAG on the other side )
