Thank you for your answers, but I'm afraid, that both are unsupported on EX4200
local-switching and interface encapsulation isn't even suggested by Junos when TAB is pressed. The encapsulation can be set anyway, but Junos says that:

show connection says it's up, but it doesn't work either
