Hello. We are using EX4500 devices to connect our iSCSI SAN network which is run by Equallogic. A few years ago I set up DCBX on the EX4500 according to a Dell guide we found on their site. I admit I still know little about DCBX but following the guide we were able to get it working and it has worked just fine for most of two years. Today the storage admin said DCBX was down on all interfaces (roughly 20-30 total). He said he noticed it a week or so ago but failed to mention it.
I checked the message logs and nothing stands out. I ran a 'show dcbx neighbors interface' and the output is attached. I'm guessing PFC is the issue. The only config changes being shown the last month are VLAN moves. Nothing has been touched in regards to DCBX. The only major change in the last few months is we upgraded JunOS from 12.3R3.4 to 12.3R11.2 way back in December but DCBX was working just fine up until recently.
The storage admin claims it's the Juniper causing it but beyond the show commands I'm not really sure where to continue troubleshooting. From what little information I have pulled it doesn't seem to be the Juniper causing the issue. I've tried to force the DCBX mode with no success and I also tried turning off PFC auto-negotiation. Has anyone seen this or have any pointers on where to look?
