Thanks Steve, I'm quite aware of the STP purpose and I will enable it later. For now I'm trying to understand why known destination request fails on the local switch when the hardcoded MAC-PORT binding in form of static MAC does exist. There is no need to flood out of other ports that part of the mesh. MAC flapping was an issue for dynamically learned addresses. For static I should be able to use static binding and get directly to the this destination - known.
