thanks for the answer.

It's 10 G interface.

If I put:

qfx# set interfaces xe-0/0/46 unit 400 family inet address 10.10.10.1/24

{master:0}[edit]
qfx# commit
[edit interfaces xe-0/0/46]
'unit 400'
Only unit 0 is valid for this encapsulation

I am trying to replicate the configuration from another device, is configured like that:

qfx2> show configuration | display set | match 0/0/50
set interfaces xe-0/0/50 disable
set interfaces xe-0/0/50:0 vlan-tagging
set interfaces xe-0/0/50:0 encapsulation flexible-ethernet-services
set interfaces xe-0/0/50:0 unit 101 traps
set interfaces xe-0/0/50:0 unit 101 vlan-id 101
set interfaces xe-0/0/50:0 unit 101 family inet address 10.9.3.27/31
set interfaces xe-0/0/50:0 unit 401 traps
set interfaces xe-0/0/50:0 unit 401 vlan-id 401
set interfaces xe-0/0/50:0 unit 401 family inet address 10.9.3.25/31
set interfaces xe-0/0/50:0 unit 850 traps
set interfaces xe-0/0/50:0 unit 850 vlan-id 850
set interfaces xe-0/0/50:0 unit 850 family inet address 10.9.3.241/29
set protocols lldp interface xe-0/0/50:0
set protocols sflow interfaces xe-0/0/50:0.0
