Hi guys...
I have inherited a customer from another company and we are setting up a Cisco WLC along with Cisco APs.
We dont want to replace the existing Juniper switches as there are many and they are working fine.
There used to be a Ruckus WLC with APs but they are outdated and with no support.
The switches are configured with VLANs MGMT(1), Admin(10) and Guest(11).
If I program a single AP to work as stand alone with 2 SSID for VLAN 10 and 11 it works fine.
If i setup the Cisco WLC on VLAN 1 the APs triggers a DHCP lease but they cant find the WLC and reboot after some minutes.
The switch ports for the APs are configured with VLAN 1 as native (same as with the old WLC setup).
So I am missing something in the EX3200. I have found several articles that mentions DHCP option 43, but htey all expect the swithc to be the DHCP server. In this case the WLC is DHCP server.
I can make it work with both HP and Cisco switches but not with Junipers (never worked with those before).
Any advice is mostly welcome
Johnny
