Hello,
PLEASE HELP !!!
I tried to protect my EX4600 from storm-control, i tried to do it with BW limit and action shut down, but the switch didnt drop any packet or shut down the port with error disable.
See my configuration on my EX4600 JUNOS Base OS Software Suite [14.1X53-D30.3]
set forwarding-options storm-control-profiles Protect-BUM all bandwidth-level 100
set interfaces ge-0/0/22 unit 0 family ethernet-switching storm-control Protect-BUM
* i tried also with error-disable
If i understand the bps value on show interface ge-0/0/2 detail should not be more then 100k, and if i add the error disable option the port should be in error disable when the bps value pass the 100k
Please see show interfaces ge-0/0/22 detail output as you can see the bps value is more the 400k
