Unfortunate, our needs are constantly outpacing our vendors, be it Juniper, HP, Cisco, etc. We have need for .3bt enabled switches today, but are currently forced to use a mix of POE+ and POH mid-span injectors. It's a missed opportunity for both. The standard has been ratified long enough to develop hardware around it. Any changes would most likely be firmware based so the development life cycle needs to speed up.
Also I should add that there needs to be full .3bt switches available at launch. Not sure how vendors will cram the required PSU's into these, but I'm sure there is a way.
