arp issue on EX4300 with RTG interfaces

Hi,

I configured RTG with 2 interfaces on EX4300 switches (junos 14.1), theese 2 interfaces are connected to 2 QFX5100 as in the attachement file. (please see attachement).

- spanning tree is deactivated on all switches.

- I'm using L3 vlan (irb interface) to manage the switches.

Switch configuration is default configuration, with vlans added and trunk interfaces.  for now, only interconnect interfaces are used.

First the RTG was opérational, but after I rebooted an EX4300, interfaces, irb and RTG were UP but the switch was no longer reachable on the network. no ping is passing to or from the EX4300 and no ssh eather.

xe-0/2/1.0 Up 2016-03-03 10:27:48 UTC (00:23:16 ago) 7

the default gateway is UP.

there are no entries in the arp table and the "monitor traffic" on the interface shows the ping request reaching the switch but no reply going back.

Then I shut one of the RTG 2 interfaces on the QFX5100 side, and the EX4300 became to life, ping is passing again same as SSH connections.

After unshuting this interface, the EX4300 still reachable, but some destinations aren't !

but every time I clear the arp table, I get the same situation of EX4300 unreachable!

I don't know if switching still works while this issue occures, since I don't have servers connected yet.

It's a very wierd behavior!

Any help please?
