Looking for recommended configuration for the following:
Current config: 5 switches/virtual chassis. Using a single default vlan and all interfaces are configured as access, including links between switches. IRB.0 is configured on each switch with an IP address so that I can configure that particular switch
I want to implement several vlans and route traffic between them and build trunk ports between switches.
So my question: is it recommended to configure the IRB with logical interfaces for all vlans on only Switch A so that Switch A is the only one routing traffic between vlans? or do I configure logical irb interfaces for each vlan on every switch?
If the first option is the correct way, can I keep the current IRB.0 that is configured for each switch's management purposes?
